Now that it is so easy to change font colors, and we have a rule that specifically asks you to choose colors carefully, you may be wondering which colors to use. Very few of the default colors actually work again our green backgrounds. Fortunately, we have compiled a list of colors which do work here.

(Sarah deserves all the credit for this list. I just put it together and posted it.)

Pre-set Colors

White is always good.

Yellow is okay.

Lime green is...legible.

Please don't use fuchsia.

Green is quite illegible. (Don't use green either!)

Black works on light green backgrounds.

Custom Colors

To use one of these colors, select "custom" from the menu and write in the correct hex code. (The # next to the numbers and letters is optionalit fills in automatically if you do not include it.)

If any of these colors are hard for you to read, please let us know and we will remove them from the list!
